Thanks to the Luke Bulla fans and the music fans on our mailing list for making this happen.

GRAMMY Award winner Luke Bulla has been singing and playing music most of his life. A longtime member of Lyle Lovett’s Large Band – in addition to violin, he plays guitar and mandolin, performing his original folk-country-Americana-tinged songs. We are happy to host Luke at the Puter House in Eureka on Wednesday, March 19th. Dave Mulhern is again graciously hosting the concert in his beautiful Craftsman home at 2434 ‘E’ St. at the corner of Buhne and E. Doors open at 7 PM; the concert starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $30. Refreshments will be available with suggested donation.
Luke toured with and sang in his family band from age four, taking up fiddle at age seven. Over the next few years, he won the National Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho, six times in his respective age categories. His seventh win came in the Grand Champion division at age 16, making him the youngest to have earned the title at the time. Entering Nashville’s Grand Master Fiddle Championship at age 10, Bulla distinguished himself by being the youngest person to have made the top 10. More recently, Bulla has performed and/or recorded with many well-known artists including Brandi Carlile, Chris Thile, Alison Krauss, Bela Fleck, Shawn Colvin, Tony Rice, Patty Griffin, Rodney Crowell, and Earl Scruggs. Luke plays ‘progressive bluegrass’ and he has been evolving into more of a singer-songwriter. After settling in Texas in 2019, Luke has been touring the country playing solo shows and occasionally in a trio.
