Katie Dahl Singer-Songwriter & Playwright

Dear Connoisseurs of Fantastic Acoustic Music,

The Puter House Concerts is excited to present an extraordinary folk artist, Katie Dahl on Tuesday, August 13, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 cash at the door, or you can pay in advance by August 12 using Venmo (@Teresa-Uyeki). Reserve your seats using this form. Indicate your method of payment on the reservation form.

We are overjoyed that Katie has overcome her redwood phobia and will venture behind the redwood curtain to bring her literate lovingly crafted songs of life and place with a touch of humor to the Puter House.   On her acclaimed recent record, Seven Stones, Katie,  accompanied by Jenny Scheinman and others, sings songs about body image, grief, queerness, and the joy of letting your true self be seen.

Clear-eyed and tough-minded, Katie Dahl is known for her
smart songs, wry wit, and wise spirit. A small-town celebrity on the Wisconsin peninsula where her family has lived for 175 years, Katie is also an internationally touring, radio-charting artist who “delivers razor-sharp lyrics with a hearty, soulful voice” (American Songwriter). In live shows that are both courageously honest and devilishly funny, Katie dives deep into questions of land and love, family and body image, grief and joy.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the concert starts at 7:30 PM. Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for a donation.

We hope to see many new folks and familiar faces for another intimate evening of great music in Dave Mulhern’s spectacular home – August 13!

Musically yours,

Dave, Dale, & Terry
