Dear Connoisseurs of Fantastic Acoustic Music,
The Puter House Concerts is excited to present an evening of songs of social change and more by the wonderful Crys Matthews, on Sunday, November 17th, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 cash at the door, or you can pay in advance by November 16th using Venmo (@Teresa-Uyeki). Reserve your seats using this form where you can Indicate your payment method.
As those fortunate enough to see Crys at Gregg Moore’s Crib this past spring know, they create and perform beautiful, powerful, and compelling songs of social justice, everyday life, and more. Crys is a black, queer social activist, a proud Southerner, and a joyous person. Their song Changemakers was the International Folk Music Awards 2022 Song of the Year. Crys is touring in support of Reclamation her soon-to-be-released record, which continues their efforts to “amplify the voices of the unheard, to shed light on the unseen, and to be a steadfast reminder that hope and love are the truest pathways to equity and justice.”
The Puter House is in Eureka at 2434 E St on the corner of Buhne and E. Doors open at 7 PM, and the concert starts at 7:30 PM. Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for a donation.
We hope to see a few new folks among the familiar faces for another intimate evening of musical magic in Dave Mulhern’s spectacular home – November 17th!
Musically yours,
Dave, Dale, & Terry
